Morgan Reed, baritone, began his career as an opera singer later than most. After a career as a teacher he began training as a professional opera singer at the University of Maryland. While a student there he began singing professionally with the Washington Savoyards and with the Washington Summer Opera. He has sung with the Virginia Opera, Opera Delaware, Opera of Northern Virginia and the Adrian Opera. He has performed the roles of Tonio in Pagliacci, Germont in la Taviata, Marcello in La Boheme and Schicci in Gianni Schicci. He has been active in Fairbanks as a founding member of FLOT and has performed many roles with them. He is a founding member of Opera Fairbanks. He has been a long time participant in Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival.
