Soprano Anastasia Jamieson brings an "innocent, sparkling voice" to her extensive vocal repertoire, which includes opera, operetta, oratorio, concert works and musical theatre. She has sung major operatic roles and concertized in several American cities, including Detroit, Denver, Pittsburgh, Boston, Las Vegas and Anchorage, performing such roles as Susanna, Barbarina and the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adele and Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Micaela in Carmen, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gilda in Rigoletto, Mimi in La Boheme and the title role in Suor Angelica. Critically acclaimed for her sensitive interpretation of Russian songs, she has recorded a collection of Russian romances of the 19th century. She resides in Anchorage, Alaska with her husband and two children and is currently a member of the voice faculty at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
