Along with the established voices we bring from the Metropolitan
Opera, we showcase talented Alaskans who get a chance to perform with
experienced professionals and advance their careers in important ways.
You might wonder how we manage it on our slender budgets. It requires a
cooperative community effort: the work of volunteers and generous
contributions from local individuals and organizations make our operas
possible. Fairbanks has impressed a number of well known singers with
our Alaskan hospitality, and that is why they return to sing for us and
why they recommend us to their friends.

For our 2013 season we are proud to present Ravonna Martin’s childhood classic THE VELVETEEN RABBIT in April. In July, Bizet's passionate CARMEN will leave you on the edge of your seat! October will unite the work of two great masters in a powerful and dramatic evening with VERDI AND THE BARD.
